Peugeot Django key

Postby swoopy » Fri Jun 05, 2015 8:30 am

Has anyone else had their Peugeot Django 125 ingnition key break away from its keyring after just a few weeks of use?

The body of the key and 99% of the scooter are plastic and the key is not man enough to remain attached to a keyring.

Also is the ignition key for a Django a "smart key"?

If not, I'm off to get an all steel key cut...........

superglue it to the plastic key casing ? i dont think it is a smart key but could be wrong. Think that would be too upper market for pug to offer that sort of feature on their keys.

Just for the record, they have keyless ignition on the Satelis mk2 and the Metropolis.

I think all keys since the Speedfight have had electronicals in them.
