Beverly 350 poor brakes in wet ?

Postby DTO » Sat Nov 08, 2014 6:05 pm

In the dry my Beverly 350 brakes are fine but have noticed that in the pouring rain that they are very poor and sometimes almost dangerous
I have to dab the front brake a couple of times before braking to clear the water or they fell like they have no grip .
Have been to the dealers and they could not test them as was not raining at time .
Suggested removing pads cleaning glaze off & checking that there was no contamination on pads from diesel/oil in puddles , I also cleaned every thing with brake cleaner :?
I did that and has improved the braking a bit in the wet but still not as good as I would like it to be .
I do have a set of EBC pads ( was for use on runner st200 but trading in on bev ) so might give them a go .

How do your brakes work in the wet on your Beverly 350 :?:
